Why need to Review the Spare Parts List?
It should be realized; however that for large, complex, custom built-up equipment the manufacturer does not always have the detailed information available at the time of the initial SPIR information.
To ensure the arrival of initial spare parts prior to start-up, administrative and documentary requirements may have to be overruled. Selection and ordering of initial spare parts must then be based on less detailed and incomplete preliminary information.
